You should be receiving your student's third quarter report card this week in the mail.  This means we are now in the home stretch of
the 16-17 school year.

On Tuesday, April 18th, the COST Team is sponsoring a Family Resource Night in the Media Center from 6:pm until 7:00pm.  This meeting will provide valuable information on the following:
*Attendance/SART                            *Alameda Family Services - Counseling

*Girls' Inc Programs                          *After School Tutoring
*Student Justice Center                    *School Based Health Center
*Cyber High /Credit Recovery

On Wednesday, April 19th, we will have our SSC Meeting in the Media Center from 6:00pm until 7:00pm.  We will be reviewing our School Site Improvement Plan.  All are welcome.

Friday, April 21st will be a busy day at Encinal.  Many staff and students will be participating in the International Day of Silence, sponsored by our GSA and ASB Student groups.

That evening is AEF's Salute to Education from 6:00 pm until 9:00pm at Rhythmix Cultural Works, located at 2513 Blanding Avenue in Alameda.  Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door.  This event recognizes innovative programs in the school district and our wonderful volunteers.  Please visit alamedaeducation.org for more information or tickets.

Finally, also on Friday night is the Spring Talent Show in the Gym from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, sponsored by ASB.
