Ms. Boytz's Educational Philosophy
Every learner and every teacher needs these five elements to succeed at any task:
1) Motivation (a desire to learn and succeed at the task)
2) Information (accurate and understandable)
3) Tools for the task
4) Time (to practice skills and complete steps of the task)
5) Emotional Support (when things get hard)
My job as a teacher is to help you succeed. I can provide information, some tools, time, and some emotional support as you develop new skills and complete assigned tasks. You must provide the motivation to learn, and we may need to think and work together to figure out what kinds of information, tools, time, and support you need.
If anyone is not succeeding, it is because one or more of these elements are missing. Let's work together to figure it out!
