I am a Cuban American who speaks Spanish as my first language. I've been a teacher for over 21 years in middle and high school both in Alameda and San Francisco. I have taught every level of Spanish, from Spanish 1 to AP.

Teaching/Educational Philosophy

My educational philosophy is to have high expectations of my students and to set them up to succeed in their lives. Qualities that I think are important are those of fairness, friendliness and knowledge of subject matter.
