Onaji Student Language Partnerships

Encinal Junior/Senior High School is a multilingual community of learners. Onaji Student Language Partnership was formed in 2014 and is designed to assist our English Language Learner students and families with their acclimation to Encinal Junior/Senior High School. Onaji is composed of fluent bilingual students of various language backgrounds, particularly Spanish, Mandarin and Vietnamese who serve as translators for conferences, new student orientation, parent meetings, and community bulletins. Onaji leaders also hosts the Lunar New Year Festival and assists with the Native American Culture Day and Cesar Chavez Day activities.
