Tobacco Use Prevention Peer Educators

The goal of the TUPE or Tobacco Use Prevention Education is to develop a cadre of peer educator to lead efforts to reduce and eliminate drug use among Encinal’s students. Peer Educators are involved with:

  • Planning, promoting and facilitating Red Ribbon Week (late October), the Great American Smoke-Out (November) and Vaporize the Lies (March)

  • Presentations to Current Life and Junior Jets Advisory classes on e-cigs/e-hookahs

  • Public Service Announcement promotion and contest submittals
