Teaching/Educational Philosophy

I have had a great number of jobs in the past and none of them have been as challenging or as rewarding as teaching. The kids make it fun to be here everyday. They make me want to challenge myself and bring them interesting and challenging curriculum that is meaningful to them. The best thing about teaching is helping the students set and achieve their academic goals. I love that every day is different and it never gets boring.

Personal Note

I love using technology in the classroom to bring history alive and more interesting. We use computers in class frequently to help students become more proficient. Currently, I live in Alameda with my two sons, Rowan and Gavin, and my wife Catrina. I love living in Alameda. Alameda is very kid friendly and fun to explore and enjoy. It is also fun to see my students around town and say hello to them.
