Alex Azarmi

I was born and raised in the East Bay. I have worked in management and training since graduating from college. Since becoming a teacher, I have been working in East Bay schools since 2010. This is my 3rd year at Encinal and I love it!

Teaching/Educational Philosophy

I believe in the notion that it "takes a village" to raise a child. Parent, teacher, student, and community involvement is necessary for a school and student success. Here at Encinal, this idea takes on a whole new tone as there are so many systems and processes taking place to ensure that students don't "slip through the cracks". Sometimes it really feels like "no child is left behind".
