Trevor Sampson

Born and raised in Alameda.  I attended Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, M.O, where I played baseball on an athletic scholarship. I graduated with a criminal justice degree, and began my coaching career at Missouri Baptist University, where I served as an assistant coach, working with the catchers, and the offense. I moved back to the bay area, and continued my passion for teaching, and coaching, and received a single subject P.E teaching credential from St. Mary’s College. I am proud to be an Alamedan, and I love being a Jet.

Teaching/Educational Philosophy

Growing up P.E was always my favorite subject, my teachers always knew how to make the classroom atmosphere fun, and exciting. My teachers always emphasized sportsmanship, and accountability, and I continue that philosophy here at Encinal.
