Seniors - are you planning on attending a Peralta College (CoA, Laney, Merritt, Berkeley City) next fall?  If so, please attend one of our upcoming Mobile CoA application/registration and counseling workshops here at Encinal.


 There are three steps to the application process:

  1. Attend an Application/Registration Workshop in the EHS Media Center on Mon, 4/17 or Tues, 4/18 from 9:30-1 p.m.  This is by appointment ONLY!  Sign ups are in the College and Career Center.
  2. Complete the Online Orientation -  Be sure to print the confirmation page at the end and bring to your counseling appointment.
  3. Attend a Counseling Appointment in the EHS Media Center Thurs 4/27 or Fri 4/28 from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.  This is by appointment ONLY!  Sign ups are in the College and Career Center.

This is a great opportunity for Seniors to apply to a Peralta College without leaving campus!  CoA reps will also be able to answer any questions and assist with the Alameda Promise application.




  • The EHS Alumni Association provides three $500 scholarships each year.  One for community service and one for a student athlete. You must be related to an EHS Alumni to be eligible.   Applications due by April 21, 2017
  • Florinda Bartalini Scholarship - $1,000 - Interest in Public Health
  • Chipman/Mastick Scholarship - $500 - Community Service
  • Paul Hardy Scholarship - $5,000 - Interest in Education
  • Ken Brown Scholarship - $500 - Tennis Player
  • Susan Scott Scholarship - $1,000 - ELD Student
  • Lou Allen Scholarship - $500 - Student Athlete

Applications available in the College and Career Center.  Scholarships listed above (except EHS Alumni scholarships) due by May 5, 2017
