Encinal High Drama Deparment presents "The Odd Couple"
Audience: Robert Moorhead, All Grades, Grade 10, Grade 11, Grade 12, Grade 8, Grade 9, Drama Department and Homepage

The Encinal High Drama Department will be presenting Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple (female version)" on November 13, 14, 20, and 21 @ 7:30 p.m. in the EHS cafeteria.  This classic comedy directed by Encinal High drama teacher Robert Moorhead was written by Mr. Simon in the 1980s changing Felix and Oscar, the two divorced friends who end up sharing an apartment, to Florence and Olive.  Olive, played by Melanie Falconer, is a sloppy newscaster, and her best friend Florence, played by Bersabel Tadesse, is a neat freak.  When Olive agrees to allow Florence to stay with her while Florence is working out her marital problems, the two realize that when it comes to living together they are like oil and water-they don't mix.  Between their weekly Trivial Pursuit games with their four friends played by Noel Ong-Robinson, Michelle Onibokun, Audrey Topacio and Allie Villa and Olive's arranged date with two Spanish neighbors, Jose Montes and Matthew Strasser, the two friends butt heads numerous times in hilarious fashion.  Tickets for each performance can be purchased at the door.  General admission tickets are $7 and students and seniors are $5.
